Phangan Pulse

About Phangan Pulse · Koh Phangan

The island's living calendar — by the people who live here.

Most events sites push the same big tickets at tourists. Phangan Pulse is built for everyday island life: the jam nights, morning yoga, Saturday markets, match screenings and pop-up dinners that make Koh Phangan feel like home. Open it any day to find something real to do.

Why we're different

Not another tourist events feed.

There are plenty of sites listing the headline parties. We care about the rhythm of the island — the recurring, local, community things you'd only know about if a friend told you. Phangan Pulseis that friend.

Local life first

Community gatherings, recurring nights and neighbourhood spots — not just the big-ticket events.

Curated, not spam

Submissions are reviewed by our team, so the listing stays clean and trustworthy.

Everything in one place

Events, calendar, sports, places to eat and drink — one island, one map.

Made for daily use

Lightweight enough to open with your morning coffee and decide what to do today.

Owned by the community

Anyone can add an event; venues can claim and run their own pages.

Built for sharing

Every event, venue and calendar has its own link to send straight to a friend.

How to use it

Five ways in — pick whatever fits your day.

Each part of the site does one job well. Here's what each is for, and a real example of how someone uses it.

The feed

Events

The home page is a live, soonest-first feed of what's actually happening. Filter by category and by area, or search a venue by name.

  • Combine categories — tick Live Music + Wellness to see both at once.
  • Narrow to your side of the island with the area filter.
  • Every card shows the date, place and who else is going.
Try this

Landed in Srithanu and want a quiet first night? Filter Wellness & Yoga, set the area, and book an evening sound healing nearby.

Plan ahead

Calendar

The same events laid out month-by-month and day-by-day, so you can plan a week instead of just tonight.

  • See the whole month at a glance and spot the busy nights.
  • Tap any day to see everything stacked on it.
  • Recurring nights (jams, quiz nights, markets) show on every date they run.
Try this

Visiting for ten days? Open the Calendar, scan your dates, and pencil in the full moon, the Saturday market and a Tuesday open-mic before you arrive.

Match nights

Sports

Upcoming fixtures plus the bars showing each game — so you know exactly where to watch, and who else is heading there.

  • Browse fixtures and see which venues are screening each one.
  • Tap “I'm watching here” to add yourself to a venue's head-count.
  • Bars can add themselves to any game in seconds.
Try this

Big match this weekend? Find the fixture, see that 2C Bar and Swenglish are both showing it, pick one and RSVP so your friends know where you'll be.

Niche groups

Community calendars

Focused calendars run by and for specific communities and interests — the stuff a generic events list always misses.

  • Follow the calendars that match your scene.
  • Everything still flows into the main feed and calendar.
  • A clean home for recurring community gatherings.

Into ecstatic dance and cacao circles? Follow that community calendar and never miss the next one, wherever on the island it lands.

Eat, drink, explore

Places

An island map of restaurants, bars and venues — each with its own profile, events, menus and happy hours.

  • Explore by map or list, by your area, by cuisine.
  • Open a venue to see its upcoming events and specials.
  • Owners keep their own page current (more on that below).

Hungry near Thong Sala? Open Places, browse the map, find a Thai spot with a happy hour on right now, and see what's on there tonight.

Plan your week

The calendar turns "what's on tonight?" into "here's my week."

Switch from the live feed to a full month view, tap any day to see everything stacked on it, and line up markets, jams, screenings and yoga around your plans. Recurring nights show on every date they run, so the weekly quiz or Saturday market is always where you expect it.

FAQ

Quick answers

How do I find something to do today?+

Open the Events feed — it's sorted soonest-first. Filter by category and your area, or search a venue by name. For planning further out, switch to the Calendar.

How do I add an event?+

Hit Add event and fill in the details — title, date, place and category. Our team reviews submissions to keep the listing clean, then it goes live in the feed and calendar. Recurring? You can set it to repeat.

I own a bar or restaurant. How do I get my page?+

Find your venue in Places and click "Claim this listing." Once we approve the claim, you can edit the page, post and approve events, add menu items and happy hours, screen sports fixtures, and invite your team to help.

What if my venue isn't listed yet?+

Add an event for it via Add event and the venue will appear, or get in touch and we'll set up the profile so you can claim it.

How do the sports screenings work?+

In Sports you'll see upcoming fixtures and which bars are showing each one. Tap "I'm watching here" to join a venue's head-count. If you run a bar, add yourself to any fixture so fans can find you.

Does it cost anything?+

No. Phangan Pulse is free to browse, free to add events, and free for venues to claim and manage their page.

How do I share an event with friends?+

Open any event, venue or community calendar and share its link. It opens straight to the details in any browser — no app needed — so whoever you send it to lands exactly where you did.
